Pretty sure you guys already know about r_3dsky, r_shadows and rest of these cmds which are usefull, but you may not know, you can change your game to work in 64 bit mode, here is my simple benchmark made on spawn with 39 and 41 players on 32 and 64 bits

How do you enable 64 bit version?

I can't say "It WILL" help, but it MAY help you with fps, it helps me, so there's possiblity it will also help you, just test it out and describe your experience.

The 64 bit build has been out for testing for a while, tried it out while I was still hosting the Ground Control server and servers definitely benefit from it though you couldn't join any 32 bit servers. Does this work now?

results may differ because of the weather but the gain is still pretty small and this may crash your game as this is still in testing phase so be careful when using this, the 64 bit version is probably primarily meant to have some more room for code so you won't have your usual darkrp kid screaming why his gmod crashes on a buffer overflow whenever he tries to load up perp on his toaster

please compare the fps counter from steam (top left) and the net_graph, I didn't bother with any fancy tools to show cpu usage I only saw a 5-8 FPS difference on my system

Hey Guys!

I have tried this out
Conclusion: It worked, my FPS was much better! Around 15/25 FPS More with 64 Bit.

64 Bit

64 Bit
Picture 2 I had to cut the half of the picture, because it was too large to upload on the message (125 FPS)

32 Bit

32 Bit

So Yea It increased my FPS with around 15/25 FPS more. Also, I don't use commands such as red sky or anything. I also have my settings on the highest which is available.

My PC Specs:
CPU: i7-7700HQ
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 4gb
RAM: 8 GB
Memory: 256 GB SSD & 1 TB HDD

I hope it will help you guys as well!

Kind Regards,
Mason Langston

I reset my PC not long ago as I had years of shit taking up space and slowing it down. I went from a laggy 10-25 fps on perp to no lag 40-70 fps. If you ain't reset your PC in a while I recommend you do as it will speed stuff up a lot. For me it did anyways.
