I would really appreciate any and all feedback, over the past week, how have I been doing as Helper? What have you noticed I am doing well, what do you think I could improve on? This feedback would be lovely and help not only me but other members of the community by setting an example of a good staff member!

HELPER APPLICATION: https://perpheads.com/threads/blackdowns-helper-application.42210/
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A HELPER?: One week
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE AN ENFORCER?: I want to be an Enforcer to increase my ability to not only help players, but also help the staff team more than I currently can! As a Helper, I have been helping many new players, getting them started on the server, and introducing them to others! I have also been doing reports with other members of the staff team. These reports have gone very well, and I have even led the admin sit in some circumstances. I try and make myself very available to do situations so that I can be as involved as possible. I have also been helping out in-character, with people who are role-playing and adding to their experiences! I try to do my best in-character roleplaying and promoting active roleplay, as well as out of character, doing my job as a helper.
Here is a reccomendation I recieved on behalf of a new player that I have been teaching and helping. This reccomendation really meant a lot to me and showed me how much of an impact the work I am doing is having.

Becoming an Enforcer is absolutely the next step, and I feel ready to take it. Over the past week, I have tried to involve myself in as many reports as possible, and make my own opinions and collaborate with the admin on how to handle the situation. Now, I feel that I am comfortable and a good choice to put in the position of an admin. My administrative skills are great, my rule knowledge is great, and I am a friendly and cooperative person that knows how to handle most any situation. I feel that as an Enforcer, I could stop pestering those doing reports to sit in and actually begin administrating myself. Furthermore, I feel this would be a good opportunity for me to teach new or old Helpers how to do reports and let them sit in with me.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT WHILST BEING A HELPER?
During my time as a Helper, I have really learned a lot about how admin sits are handled and how to conduct myself appropriately. I'll be honest, I still remember a lot about being a mod, both good and bad choices I had made. During my time as Helper, I have worked on both of these aspects and worked on removing any bad choices, and improving the good ones. During situations as a Helper, I have been working on taking both sides of the argument, and really weighing out the situation. Despite our rules being very set in stone, the context of a situation often dictates whether or not a rule was actually broken, and I have learned to take that into account. Being a Helper has taught me especially that punishment may not always be the best option. Throughout sits and reports being a Helper, I learned to really explain myself and let both parties know why rules were broken, and try and help them learn how to better their understanding of the rules and how to not break them in the future if they get into a similar situation.
DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY?:
I feel like I've really done a great job as Helper so far, I've been very active, trying to help everyone that I can, and really focusing on helping new players get started and learn the rules. I want to make the jump and I feel that after sitting in with many other admins, I feel that I am ready! I feel that my time is two-fold as a Helper. I am more often than not, not performing any duties. While this is great as I get to role-play, I also feel like placing myself in an administrative role would be the most beneficial and I could do the most with the time that I am online!
I am also online much later at night and early in the morning for the majority of the player base. This means that I often see and encounter rulebreakers or situations that need to be handled but cannot as I'm not able to do so as a Helper. Being an Enforcer would enable me to be an active administrator at times where there often isn't one.
I hope that I have been able to prove myself as a Helper, and I wish to do so too with Enforcer, and again, please leave any feedback you have, I would love to make improvements to myself.
