Description of the Bug: Forums are slow

How to reproduce the Bug: Use the forums on any modern web browser, specs or internet speeds don't matter. Trying to go on a thread takes more than 20 seconds to load, sometimes typing something returns in an error which results in you having to retype everything because the server didn't respond in time (shoutbox for example).

@Hayden has also observed this issue. No, I'm not being discouraged.

I have this exact same problem with safari on iphone and vivaldi on my computer, it started last week. Plpd, forum and scambans is slow, all other websites operate as normal.

I still occasionally have the website being really slow. It usually ends up with this error screen being shown. This happened on iOS 15 on safari, but it also happens on Firefox on my windows PC.

Had a “The server couldn’t respond in time

“ message appear in the shoutbox text when attempting to send a message, the website then took a while to refresh.

I can try grab some debug stats for you later when I’m on my computer.

I have also noticed similar issues described in this post just after we switched hosting…
