Having reviewed a demo and spoken with the players involved, it is clear that the players in question were metagaming in this instance. All players involved will receive a 2 week ban. This ban is lenient due to their honesty and the fact that this appears to be an isolated incident.

The player in question was under the illusion that doing this was allowed, having been told so by another player, and received a punishment for doing it again not long after (as you are aware). They have been educated on this topic and now understand that doing this is categorically not allowed...

You're well within your right to dispute a ban you disagree with, and the staff complaint was necessary if you believed the other player broke rules. It's nothing personal, there's no need to apologise for that. With this said, I would still like you to wait out this ban in its entirety.
