Why should this player be punished?: Raised the temperature of his meth to attempt and blow us up to kill us. If he had succeeded it wouldve broken 3.4 and 3.6 but it only broke 3.4 as he didn't kill us

While we understand the possible idea behind it, Tinky here already had his gun in passive and ready to shoot. This could've been a possibility, but considering the circumstances it was not an option, and you should've just complied and not endangered your life by increasing temperature, the blow would guarantee your death as well, and you had no plan or escape route.
