Graphics card problem.

dear someone with more brain cells than me.

So I have a GTX 1050TI graphics card, but when I put it in the computer, I don't get a picture on my screen, the thing is with my CPU I do not have intergrated graphics, so this is a bit of a sticky one still.

My components are all compatible but for some reason I can't get a picture, is there any way I can install my drivers without a picture XD

Make sure your hdmi cable is plugged into the GPU hdmi's port and not the motherboard's?

I'm using a DVI and yes it is plugged in.

Use a different cable (Use HDMI if your monitor supports it?)

The monitor, which I don't have with me atm supports HDMI, but the one I have now doesnt :/

It will most likely not allow you to as Nvidia and AMD both check if you even have compatible hardware installed.

Are you sure you have plugged the power cables into the gpu?

@Rhys :) what if you uninstall your previous drivers and after you change the card put the new drivers cd in when you open it?

yes, they were plugged in when I done it, my friend said that the components are not compatible but I searched it up and everything is compatible

@Lelios This might sound really stupid, but like 4 years ago I took my CD drive out of my computer because the case I have currently does not have a CD drive slot in the case if that makes sense, and I don't know what I have done with the CD drive.
