Hello friends.

Your imagination whilst RPing can be a powerful tool for resolving situations. Obviously there’s items police would have IRL that they do not have physically in the game, and I shall go over them in fair detail.

Multi tool:

Would be carried by the officer on patrol.
For the purpose of convenience and cost, I’d assume police carry the leather man wave due to its heavy usage in police and military application . Each tool would serve the following purpose:
- Pliers: removing bullets from walls for inspection purposes.
- knife: Should not be RP’d as a combat item as the PLPD wouldn’t want you stabbing crooks, nor would it be effective combat wise. Could be used to cut seatbelts, open up drugs packages or trimming plants for inspection And testing.
- Scissors: destroying drug plants or taking a leaf sample to test it with a narcotics testing kit.
- Screwdriver: idk really
- Saw blade: Cutting people’s zip ties off.
Multi tools could also be considered to be used when removing explosives from hostages.

Gloves:
Officers would at all times carry at least 2 sets of disposable latex / rubber gloves. These would be used in treating severe wounds or handling crime scene evidence.
Officers would also carry a set of stab / slash proof gloves for the purpose of searching suspects to prevent them being cut by carried blades or needles.
Both of these items would be carried on the officers person and spares would be found in the trunk of their police cruisers.

Towels:
These would be carried in police vehicles. Towels would be used to:
- Cover up indecently exposed people.
- Used to hold a broken, fractured or otherwise injured limb
- Given to people rescued from the ocean or other body of water
- Used to support Unconscious people or heavily intoxicated people to keep the head up above the Ground

Pencil / pen:
Used as a pencil or pen.

Drugs testing kit:
Officers would carry these on their person in A small number with spares in the car. This can be used to “test” found substances, such as drugs, seeds or acids.

Breathalyzer:
Breathalyzers would be carried on the person of an LEO, or in their cars. Keep in mind that lawfully a breathalyzer test wouldn’t give an 100% exact reading on consumed alcohol. Remember to replace the plastic tube after each use.

Hand sanitizer:
Would be carried in the equipment belt of all officers and used after coming into contact with contaminants, biohazards, or used before and after every arrest.

Spit guard:

A mesh hood that can be put onto a restrained suspects head to prevent them from spitting on, or biting police officers. Officers would carry these either on their person or in there cars.

I’ll update this thread very soon!

if we had towels to cover naked people how would the people get naked in the 1st place also i think the breathilizer is probably the only good idea and the drug test kit the rest is a bit of a stretch to add
