Although its essential to be able to give out tickets as a punishment, most of the time at least one senior officer will be on, recently I have seen "Sweater" officers giving out high tickets, not following guidelines and its just a annoyance for people to make reports to get them removed. I am suggesting it be lowered to 5k maximum.

Thanks for making this @Walker. This has been quite the discussion at the very start and I wanted to only give unwhitelisted cops max 5k. Now, can you provide any exact incidents of this happening? To me it seems people seem to be over exaggerating the abuse of the ticket system from unwhitelisted cops.

YU GUNNA GET 9 YEAR PRISON AND 8.5K TICKET (He was told off by Chris after i made a report)

Clearly officer is in the wrong here, but is it worth acting on this bad apple and revoking all unwhitelisted officers privilege to give $10,000 tickets? Sure incidents like this happen, but is it that widespread where we should be concerned? Imo we should be working on punishments for officers that are not following the law and/or are not competent for the position as an officer. As I said previously, I'm cool with taking down their ticket price, but at the moment I don't see the issue, obviously unlawful tickets can be revoked and amendments can be made. I'd also like the laws expanded on when issues like this arise, like if someone is being charged with a crime and about to receive a ticket and/or custodial jail sentence then the individual has the right to go over the case with a Supervisor.

?.? Right to a supervisor
Any person who is under detainment, arrest or has received a ticket has the right to request to see a supervisor at the Police Department. This request may be denied by a supervisor if they are unable to attend or deem it unnecessary however the person requesting them must be informed of this.
