Is this a new law or a change to a current law:New Law

What law do you wish to change/add: City Hall is a special private entity of the mayor and secret service you may access the services there at any point you wish but the Secret Service have the right to search you at point during you're visit and you may be forced to leave if the Secret Service have a reasonable reason to force you out such as but not limited to disturbing the peace and in anyway jeopardizing the Mayor's safety.

Why should this change/addition be made: In a city where mayors are dropping like flies cause they have sales taxes 35% I believe we need to consider tightening up the security around City Hall and ensuring that the bad people don't get in and kill the most important person in the city. This would include allowing the SS to search those in city hall and allowing them to set up security checkpoints around inside city hall. This would bring further stability to the city and allow mayors to operate without constantly feeling as if some guys gonna come up and blow his brains out at any second.

What is the aim of this change/addition:Bring stability to the city by making it harder to kill the mayor.

Additional Information: We clearly see this in real life also in Toronto when we experienced the attacks in Ottawa and Quebec we tighten up security around city hall and in the Parliament of Ontario we have metal detectors at every entrance.

This can already done if it is deemed necessary. Further clarification regarding the legal status of SS will be issued in due course.
3.8 Right to Restrict Entry to Public Places and Private Property
Law enforcement officers may restrict access to any place whether public or private if this would aid the Paralake Police Department in the execution of their duties. If an access to an area larger than one residential property is to be restricted for longer than 10 minutes authorisation from the most senior Law enforcement officer on duty must be sought. Any person who fails to comply with an order from a Law enforcement officer to leave an area commits the offence of failing to comply with a direction to leave notice.

My idea was relating to allowing stuff like metal detectors around city hall and random searches from the SS as city hall is currently classed as public property thus disallowing such things.

Can't do random searches I'm afraid. This is something we ruled out when creating the current Penal Code (@StephenPuffs defending your freedom bro).

However, it would be perfectly justifiable to restrict entry to an area unless the consent to a search under 3.8 anyway. This would mean that if the threat is great enough, and you can close it off under 3.8 anyway you can let people in if they consent to a search.
