Recently there have been several issues with TFU Applications and I would like to use this thread to clear up some of the reasons why and what we're going to do about them. When we opened permanent applications as opposed to the monthly applications we had before, the issues began. These were, in part, due to the fact that the Head of TFU had gone on LOA as well as one of the Lieutenants due to very spontaneous inactivity. The next issue was server population in general being low and as a result, motivation to not only play the server but also work on it as a TFTO was lost.
How do we plan on fixing this?
Before permanent applications, our monthly recruitment worked very well. All stages were planned in advance and the dates for the practical assessment stages was known as soon as applications opened. Stages were run on time, TFTOs showed up consistently and everything ran smoothly. We will be returning to monthly or bi-monthly recruitment because of how well it worked.
Like before, TFU apps will open on the first Sunday of the month. These changes will take effect once the current recruitment cycle is over.
