Why I want to be an Enforcer

I joined the community in November 2013 with @Hazza56 although we had not signed up on the website. At the time the community had a different website and eventually after it had moved, my buddy here got himself banned and I only signed up to support his appeal which was accepted by @Jordan. At this time I was under the alias of thettjr123 hence the URL in my YouTube channel. When @Hazza56 was unbanned we started playing the server and actually got into it, we developed our roleplay characters and eventually got known in the community, although at this point I never used my microphone.

With the introduction of the police supervisor system (15/01/2015) I applied for supervisor and fortunately got the role the first time round, because of the supervisor requirements I had to begin using my microphone and it turned out I was getting recognised for my police roleplay, and I developed the first real big concept for police dispatching. I was invited to join the Board of Supervisors as a Deputy Chief of Department and worked alongside GraveDinosaur, Jordan and Chrissy to help develop the police whitelist update.

After joining the Belinsky Family I decided I would go ahead and apply for Server Enforcer, which I managed to achieve my second time round. I didn't really know the rules as well as I should have but I swiftly picked them up and served a good year and a bit as a Server Moderator.

So after that fat history lesson, I would like to become an Enforcer because I want to resume my duties by supporting the staff team through a number of ways, whether they are helping out with reports or contributing my time to create ban appeal reminders like previously. I also love to help people within the community and this role leading up to Moderator will let me do that more than I currently can.

Community Contribution and Activity

I have issued 120 bans when I were previously a Server Moderator. I mostly find rule-breakers using a pro-active method in that I come across them frequently when playing as a Police Officer.

I've never really had to make action requests because the staff team has mostly handled my reports to a satisfactory extent, although I have made two in the past which can be seen below:

My organisation continually contributes new roleplaying ideas to the community and it's police department but it has also been responsible for monitoring the organisation section of the forums, working with staff members to take appropriate action on organisation pages that break forum rules. http://paralakecrimeagency.co.uk/index.php

As mentioned above in my fat history section I assisted with the creation of what is now the Police Whitelist as a Deputy Chief of Department/Board of Supervisors.

On my good weeks I was able to get well over 100 reports, although this unfortunately dropped lower and lower throughout the year although I was told there was never any real concerns of me in this area.

I am highly active on the TeamSpeak 3 server.

Additional Information

I know I probably won't be accepted first time round at least but I really want another go at being a staff member and I will be taking the role a lot more seriously. If for whatever reason you would like to privately give me a constructive reason as to what I could improve on before/whilst a staff member please feel free to do so here. You recently got demoted - said everyone when I got demoted.
You rucked tons of complaints on you which shows something.
You broke the rules and recklessly played on the server but covered it with Policing videos.
You did little reports when I was Mod.

New information has come to light about you "resigning" You have informed me that you were basically told to resign.

I will be going neutral on your application, I don't know why you were demoted but you seemed like a pretty decent staff member to me, If any new information comes to light as to why you were demoted (Such as betraying the trust of fellow staff members then I cannot and will not support this application)

So, I'd like to first off state that I heard you were demoted from your position, if that is the case then I do not support you being added back onto the staff team.

However if you did actually resign then I would LOVE to have you back on the staff team as you were an excellent member of the team, you often helped other staff members out especially with your reminders.

One thing I will say that if you do come back please try to actually do some more reports.

Not only are you an exceptional staff member you are also one of the best Captains in the PLPD.

I fully support this application. As long as you were not demoted. if you were then I do not support you at all.

yeah, tyla was a great staff member before ~~being demoted~~ resigning. he has a great attitude to others and treats everyone as a real human bean, not just another number on the player count

I am sure everybody realizes how you are more than capable of handling the position, and how much you have achieved in the community. You are one of the most recognized members of the community for obvious reasons, which I don't need to list.

You are clearly enforcer material, not much else needs to be said really.

OOOO Tyla.... Where do I start. Tyla is a crackin lad who knows his way in the Staff. Tyla is not dull he makes his sits funny and easy. He gives people chances to become mature and puts a lot of effort in the community. He overall a propa necta beast but he could work on his Geography Skills

me and @Whitewolf both know that Tyla is one of the many special people of the community and to have him on the staff team would be fuckin belta.

Of course you say they were all for minor reasons, but to me personally, complaints are still complaints
In addition to this, some of the videos you release can easily be construed as mingey and unproffessional. Not something you'd want to see in a staff member

You do however need credit for all the things you have done for the server, like helping shape the PD, helping with the staff section etc, all of which with no doubt have been extremely helpful.

For now, the drawbacks outweigh the benefits for me.

To be honest Tyla, I really liked working with you when we were on the staff team, you have been a friend to me since then. I would like to see you back on the staff team as I think you are competent on handling reports. We all know that the complaints you mentioned are a thing, however I believe that everyone deserves another chance and so do you. Best of luck

I'll just start off by saying that you were a loved and very good staff member for most of your time (of course the fall in report count started to come after that, as you stated in your application). You were professional and calm in admin situations, and explained each situation to everyone clearly to ensure they understood their actions.

However, I really don't feel like you actually WANT the position back. I know you think you do, however I don't feel any real effort coming from you to tell me 'hey, Tyla seems like he is getting back into PERP, hopefully he goes for staff' (I wouldn't actually say that but you know what I mean xd). Your activity (which isn't that high as of right now) makes me think you've just came back and decided to apply for the sake of it, and think because you were a previous staff member you'll just get accepted. What I suggest is you wait a bit longer, get yourself on some more, try doing lots of different role play situations and being an officer and all that jazz. Basically go back to the start, when you first applied and were on all the time role playing like we all did.

Due to this, I can't support this application right now, not because I feel you wouldn't be able to be a staff, but because I don't get any vibes that you actually want this position.

Cole I only met you briefly but in that time you seemed like a really good Moderator and I actually looked up to you, my reason for not giving you the full support is the obvious fact that you got demoted from your position.

I hope to keep seeing you on the server mate.

Unfortunately Lewis088 Tyla did get demoted but to sugar coat it like most staff do when demoted he said he resigned, this wasnt the case as he got demoted now people were brainwashed to think he wasn't demoted, what's the different between Tyla and Cole? @Cole @LEWIS 088

Fuck me and a half, here comes shitty National Geographer Tyla Jai. Fucking Eiffel tower in New York.
Anyways, you've always been a friend to me and nothing but I remember back when you were an enforcer sometime last year. You, @John Daymon and @Walker were the first few people I actually met. You seemed like a right little nerd, anyways, as a staff member you've always given advice and nothing but that. Whether the person broke a rule or is asking a question you're there to help, you interact with people in a 'special kind of way' (maybe both ways in special). I've seen what you've done for the staff team and you've done a lot. For example, the list of disputes, ban appeals etc. that weren't completed you made sure that people did so and seen the thread itself.

All jokes aside, you're the best staff member I've ever had the honour (sounds nerdy) of playing with (hehe).
So for the points I made, I'd like to say, I wish you all the best in getting enforcer. @CodezBlack

You are a great person and always try to help(even when you do the exact opposite -.-), and I was missing from the community during the time of you being staff but I believe just by looking at what you do, and playing with you that you do deserve getting staff, you are creative and hard working, and if @LEWIS 088 can support you then you must have been the greatest staff member of all times ^_^.

Tyla was by far one of the funniest, friendliest, and most helpful moderators around before his untimely ~~demotion~~ resignation. He knows the rules and laws extremely well, far better than myself and many others. He was an outstanding staff member, who has dedicated a lot to this community, and has spearheaded many changes and additions to the server. This is an absolute no-brainer.

+Support - The amount of effort Tyla put into the staff team was memorable and I think it must be considered when the Administrative Team review this application. The amount of time and effort Tyla spent invested into making roleplay better for others was something else.
