We all know the meme.
India was set to be at least majorly up to date with the rest of the world in terms of technology, architecture, etc. However they have not achieved this yet.
In terms of technology India hasn’t made a lot of breakthroughs and most of their technology is stuff made in other countries.
A huge portion of the Indian population live in literal poverty in shanty towns.
They also apparently have cannibal tribes in more rural (by Indian standards) areas.
India used to be a pretty big country in terms of trade. Nowadays most of Indian trade comes from making products for businesses in the US, Asia, And Europe.
