Running towards him to give him keys was not a good response and is putting my characters life at risk. I see that I made a mistake by getting close to him and I won't make that mistake again.

My reaction time to seeing you and the shootout was bad, but completely unintentional. I did not mean to hit you, you are on the highway. I got out and surrender due to the shootout. (probably should have just ran away, or drove back on the highway.) As for invading your space and getting close...
