You should reconsider your AR. As stated in 3.24 (The rule regarding 'metagaming'), players are prohibited from bringing OOC (Out Of Character) information into IC (In-Character) gameplay. This would mean that simply asking where you are in OOC isn't prohibited, but if you were to respond, and they used that information to find you, they'd be breaking rule 3.24.
No info taken into character meaning it wasn't meta, furthermore no one even answered in OOC and he clearly stated that he meant if you were online or not.
