slow it down to 0.25 and you see him snap from owen to me, he literally killed 2 of us in less than a second

I had this problem when I tried accessing some menus in game it would crash with that error, I tried removing some launch options from steam and it seemed to at least reduce the crashes however they do still occasionally happen. Not sure what causes them though.
