try checking for updates. both steam and gmod. if that doesnt work, have you recently installed any new games? check your firewall aswell, make sure nothing is blocked steam/gmod related

try checking your autoexec.cfg if you have one. Also go into steam --> Gmod --> Launch options and there should be something about commands to run on start. try deleting all of the commands in your autoexec and in that section

In addition to all of this, there were like 4 riots from the same new players and morons at PD. Punching PD almost to death, blocking pedestrians and traffic, impeding multiple laws.
