I'm Beau Connell, in this scenario I honestly thought it was an accident because you were completely silent for about 5 seconds after you pulled it, I just thought you pulled it out by accident
This is a decent idea but I don't think they should be dropped on death. Only at will of the officer. We don't want criminals shooting cops just because they got their gun taken
Depends how long the criminals are willing to wait. Say a property is getting raided and the raiders have got a hold of the defenses inside, the police should be defensive and wait them out rather than hoping to kill them with a push
For example how to hold a door properly as a unit so nobody exits without being aggressive and peeking into it. Just things that minimize the risk of loss of life on both sides.
Suggestion Title: TFU standoff tactics
Suggestion Description: Policies and procedures in the TFU handbook for standoffs. This would make firearms incidents much more realistic and structured than the cluster of officers doing whatever they think is best during a raid/shootout.
Why should...
That does sound good. I think they could change the policy with RTCs and say if youre in a regular car request a RTC car to do the long part of the RTC. If none respond you can just resolve it as usual. Also I think maybe some officers would want to be on patrol in these cars sometimes
