Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Apology
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @kerzify
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 4 Days
Your Steam Name: Flauschige Hoden
Your Roleplay Name: Tyler Allan
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:607206066
Why were you punished?: 2.5 - User shot out someone's tires for no appropriate reason.
Why should this appeal be considered?: I’d like to appeal my 4-day ban for rule 2.5 regarding the situation where I shot the tires of a car after being raided.
I completely understand now that it’s not allowed to shoot or slash tires when the vehicle isn’t being used actively or as cover. At the time, however, I genuinely believed I was allowed to do so. The reason I acted that way was because I had been told by a few people in-game — including friends I usually play with — that if someone raids you, you’re allowed to damage or disable their vehicle afterwards.
When I saw the raiders pull up and raid my base, I reacted instinctively after the situation ended. I didn’t have a knife on me, so I shot their tires thinking it was allowed since they had just raided me. I now understand that I was misinformed and that my action still counts as breaking the rule because the vehicle wasn’t being used at that moment.
I honestly had no bad intentions and wasn’t trying to cause trouble or break server rules. I was simply trying to protect my base the way I thought was allowed. I realize now that I should’ve clarified the rule before acting, and I take full responsibility for the misunderstanding.
I’d really appreciate it if you could consider reducing the length of the ban or unbanning me as a second chance, since this was a genuine mistake caused by misinformation rather than intentional rulebreaking. I’ve learned from this situation and will make sure it won’t happen again — I’ll double-check the rules next time before acting in similar scenarios.
