Suggestion Title: Bazaar Shops being held hostage
Suggestion Description: We are seeing time and time again, Bazaar shops with no stock, owners AFK, or people selling overpriced goods while attempting to sell the store to others for an insane price. Thereby keeping within the rule of having something for sale, although they know no one will purchase them.

With the reduction in numbers of stores, something should be put in place to prevent the above practices and keep the Bazaar fair and open to active members who are actively selling produce. I am aware that an F6 can be put in to force a sale, however on many occasions staff are unavailable, so they remain empty for hours on ends.

A fix could be the implementation of a notification every hour or two, which requires the user to confirm the active use of the store, otherwise it force sales. Aswell as the implementation of potential property bans, which stop the user from purchasing a store for 1/2 days if they aren't selling anything.

Why should this be added?:
- Operates even when admins/mods are not online
- Keeps the stores active and ensures that there is always something available
- Keeps the Economy afloat, rather than the market stalling because no one can sell anything due to empty owned stores
- Prevents people buying stores with the intention of selling them for a profit.
- More likely to have stores available for those planning on selling

What negatives could this have?:
- People with actual stock wont be able to AFK over night. (Maybe this is a good thing?)
- If someone misses the UI, maybe store autosells? I'm sure if it was large, in the middle of screen for like 10min, this wouldn't be the case.

What problem would this suggestion solve?: People having stores with no stock for prolonged periods of time. People preventing those who want stores from being able to have them for normal price.

This is already a thing the timer is 2hrs when afk but excludes shops, also real estate agent RP is not a thing on perp and staff will always sell properties if they believe they are not being put to good use.

I already made a f6, we will get shops as soon as a mod hops on.

I mean, looking to get something automated. For instance this am, theres about 4/5hrs where there isn't anyone who can do it. So they remain empty and stale for that time. So the suggestion is about having a ui prompt that auto sells the store if the owner remains afk over a period of time

The afk property seller already exists and it excludes shops. This is a good thing so when you build a huge shop with 100 props you can go afk and don't have to worry about losing it easily.

Times where there is 0 staff online are so rare, it is not worth the benefit/disadvantage ratio of changing this.

Maybe implement a stock check? Its been about 3 times this week already where its been waiting 2+ hours for a store. If you are under 5 props or so, the property seller kicks in?

One way I see people go around this is by selling one highly priced item which makes no sense, like a M24 with scope for about 50K. (edit: I just re-read the thread, you literally just mentioned this lmfao I'm so good at reading)

Sure, they're selling something...but it's the only thing and no one is ever going to buy it.

For now you can make a F6 and tell us to check if they're ever going to sell something (or more than one overpriced item) but automation would definitely be the best way if it can be implemented.

Certain exceptions could be made for those with extended props but that's all I can say for now.

Just to say, as I've been mentioned and didn't notice this thread before I woke up this morning, I did ask last night if it was allowed or not as a test. I didn't seem to get a particular answer. through help chat, as I didn't wanna break any rules while doing so. In my opinion, the game shouldn't allow u to buy two bazaar shops for one org at all. One used to be fine for v5 and all other versions before it, not sure why now that orgs have been given perms to buy two or one buildings per org. Even some people I talked to last night didn't even know that about v6 yet. And tbh I thought it was a glitch.

It does allow for a "hostage taking" of bazaar shops - and I made 50k out of it, but I only wanted 20k, which would have been sufficient for the experiment. It defo shouldn't be allowed, but I assume there was no staff online last night to tell us otherwise of the fact and I'm sure they would have quickly sold it from me if they were online, and I would have been fine with that tbh.

From the video listed above looks like there were at least 3x shops which could have gone into the hands of owners who wanted to sell actual stock for their shops.

Just unlucky there wasn't staff on during American hours, very rare indeed.

(Remember this was an experiment to see what would have happened.) - and anyone who was caused any grievances or upset, we apologise for doing so. Didn't think anyone would actually buy it, or I would be able to sell it.

I think theres a massive difference between orgs buying two stores and actually using them, and buying 2 stores and holding them for sale. If there are more than 4 members of an org online, permission has been given in the past, so that all members can craft. As long as both stores are sufficiently stocked and active.

The issue is where stores are owned for no purpose, whether that's no one crafting, no one selling, or purely for the form of selling the store itself. Similar to how I wouldn't be allowed to buy every property on the map, just to charge double.

100% and I agree with you, however, the baz shop selling has been around for ages. Now I may have conducted it in a different "RP" way but i used to remember if u had a shop in bazzar and when people saw it they activley came looking for u to sell it to them or the opposite when u did have stuff in the shop and people still wanted it anyway going rate was around 10-15k from what i remember to help buy out the owners contract on the property if they didnt sell anything that day.
But yeah, I agree with you, there is a massive difference between org members who want to expand their baz shop and their stock or the look or presentation of bazzar.

compared to only selling it for profit.
