Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Lhealey05
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: Permanent

Your Steam Name: triad 摇摆阳
Your Roleplay Name: zhen chen
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:754804991

Why were you punished?: I got misunderstood for not knowing English only because I was speaking Chinese in the open area of the server.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I think I can communicate fine in English. It’s not super good, but it’s totally enough for daily stuff. We were role-playing normally while playing yesterday. And one of my friends can help translate whenever we run into sentences we don’t quite get.

Additional Information: I got misunderstood for not being able to speak English because I used Chinese. The admin asked me to learn English first before appealing, but I actually can speak English. Also, one of my six teammates has an English certificate and can be our translator. So I hope you can unban my account. I really love this server and I won’t mess things up here as a foreign player.

Are you sure you can speak to a level where you can communicate with both staff and players, thereby also understanding the rules?

The staff member, who issued the punishment, reported you couldn't make out a lot of what you were trying to say.

In your "evidence", it seems you're reading from a script, and your level of English does not seem anywhere near the level of what you wrote in the dispute.

You should be able to independently speak well enough that we can communicate with you, without the help of others.

I can do it. My friend has helped me learn a lot of English these past few days.
