Suggestion Title: Fare Policy
Suggestion Description: With the current mayor policy for fare make it so when that is enabled it will also charge people for using the metro but only when the policy is in use

Why should this be added?:
- QOL
- Additions are cool

What negatives could this have?:
- Dev time

What problem would this suggestion solve?: N/A

Driving also costs fuel. Buying a metro ticket only makes sense!

I feel like this would defeat the point of the metro. It is supposed to be a free option for anyone to get around quickly and reliably.

I can't really see any positives, other than being a really really small contribution to the cities budget.

And those few people who might need to actually use it, due to a bad financial situation, would be negatively impacted.

As long as it's cheap, like $75 or less, I see no problem with this.

If u can’t afford the 1000 mini, then u did something wrong lmao. Public transport costs money IRL too.

But it should indeed be something small that contributes to the budget. Just another thing for the mayor to lose votes over.

if the fee is like $75 - $150 it doesn’t have much impact, plus there a VW you can get for free by joining the discord and claiming it at the NPC in city hall, if that is really too steep for new players.

There isn’t any negative impacts for this suggestion and if anything just makes the metro more realistic.

The metro is free on purpose. We want a no cost, low friction way to get around the map.
