Why should this appeal be considered?: I’m writing this to appeal my ban for Rule 2.5. I was the one throwing Molotovs at cars, and I want to be honest, about why I did it and why i’m sorry.
I was trying to play a character who’s basically a pyromaniac/arsonist. I wanted to stir up some action and start some rumors in the city about a mystery arsonist...since I didn't get caught by the police at the time, I thought it was cool RP, but I totally ignored that for the other players, it just sucks to have their own cars blown up for no reason.
Honestly, a part of it was just frustration. I usually play solo on the server and kept getting taken out by player with expensive weapons and perfect aim, and I felt like I couldn't really keep up. I tried to lean into a "pyromaniac" character venting my frustration in a way that was not fair to others Players.
Even if I was frustrated, it’s not an excuse to ruin someone else's day.. I went back and re-read Rule 2.5, and I totally get it my actions did not add anything positive to the RP; they just caused "Excessive Negativity"!
I will make sure to handle my frustration better and keep my RP within the rules.
No more random Molotovs, I promise.
Additional Information: I made you guys spend a lot of time, I’m sorry for the extra work I caused the staff team.
I’ve recently found a bit of a connection with a group, and it's made the game more fun again. I don't want to be a toxic player or a troll.
