Why should this appeal be considered?: I'm gonna give it one last go, I'm sorry that I keep making appeals, I'm earnestly trying to communicate my regret for what happened and my actions leading up to and after to the ban do not help my case at all.
I'm sorry for what I did, not just the MassRDM but also getting demoted in the first place. I was frustrated at myself for letting myself get demoted and I lashed out instead of taking a break. It doesn't matter how funny it was, and that attitude is exactly what lead to my demotion in the first place. I was a good staff member and I let myself down by getting demoted and then further undoing all of the hard work I have done to demonstrate that I want to positively contribute to this community after years of toxic trolling.
After my demotion I was toxic towards people who were just exercising their right to call out bad behaviour. I'm honestly kind of embarassed now that distance has dulled emotions surrounding the event. I'd like to apologise not only to those who I was toxic towards but also to the senior administration team directly. I was a good staff member, and I let myself and you guys down by doing what I did, and then further shit on it by trying to be "classic exrobite" when the whole point of my staff endavours was to distance myself from that person. I failed to handle my emotions in a mature way and damaged my reputation in the eyes of some of the people I respected the most.
If you deny this I get it, I'll wait out the rest of my ban and start working on fixing shit up in july, I just hope that despite everything it is understood that one relapse into my old habits does not constitute a complete regression. Whenever I come back, I intend to continue contributing positively to the community as I did before my demotion.
