Recognising Players for Roleplay, Creativity or Helpfulness
The player showcase portion of the Community Spotlight is designed to showcase players that have been noticed by Community Management for good roleplay, creativity or helpfulness.
| Reginald Ficklestein Store Made by @Oddy A grungy store with a lot of self promotion, offering a good selection of items, from weapons and ammo to medical supplies and "entry" equipment. Plus, if you want storage it isn't difficult to find out who owns the store. |
| PLN Scaffolding Made by @Bindex¹ and others It looks like PLN was having some work done. From what I hear they had some major roof damage from some unruly citizens making their way up there. I hope they hired a great construction crew. (I don't have all the names on this one so if you did take part let me know and I can add you to this). |
| Hicktown Trailer Home Made by @fatgirllover A very cosy home for those on a budget. I will say the attention to detail here is great. If I had a tight budget, I wouldn't mind living here. I hope the beer comes with the place  |
| Car Meetup Organised/Made by @CrimeWave A nice little get together with plenty of people attending to show off their vehicles. It's great that it wasn't only one style of car allowing for anyone to attend. Shame I missed it but I heard it was great! |
| Bazaar Shop 3 Made by @bigsmat Now I don't know if there was a sign up before but this version of Bazaar Shop 3 is very nice with an industrial feel. You don't see the industrial shelving being using used much in bazaar but it was a breath of fresh air to see. |
| Exiled Mafia House Made by @rickhummer Exiled Mafia seem to have settle a little, with them settling down in the Suburbs district. A nice build over all. Let's hope those guns are secured properly though. We wouldn't want them to get into the wrong hands. | Ricky's Garage Made by @ricky hendrix Watch out roadcrew new mechanics has arrived in the city! Roadcrew now have competition in the form of @ricky hendrix's garage, I do need my car servicing so hopefully I can get a better price here with better customer service. |
| Regals Apartment Home Made by @Scoot So I did some building this month and this one, out of the others I have done, is one of my favourites so far. A well furnished apartment with artwork I have made on the walls and a cameo from Mayor Boris Lagunov, crown and all. Complete with balcony furniture. Let's not talk about what happened after it was built but I do hope you like it. More passive builds from myself are being brainstormed! |
| Mayoral Office Party Made by @Marvin Meatball & @wizofaz (Ali Blau) The Mayor opened his office up for a party with some great hits being played and plenty of visitors getting on the dance floor. I enjoyed the party. Can you get me an invite to the next one please? |
| Laquisha Johnson - Roleplay Roleplayed by @Quish Quish's commitment to the character of Laquisha is amazing. Being able to communicate with players just by head movements and actions is true commitment to the character. If they ever speak I don't think Paralake would ever be the same again. |

This portion of the Community Spotlight is in place to make sure you are up to date with any changes made in the community, and ensuring you're up to date on what's going on within the community. This may include: Community-wide Events, Update Logs, Rule Changes, Staff Roster Changes
| Rule 3.4 Change We have adjusted the rule 3.4, making it so raiding with melee weapons is now possible. It is a minor change but does come with a large impact with how raids can now be played. Please share any feedback you have regarding this change. We want to make sure that it doesn't cause any major negativity as playstyles develop. |
| V6 Map Changes There have been some changes and bug fixes added to the map, with some much awaited for features like Roadcrew getting a second entrance to the impound lot. The full change logs can be found on the Paralake V6 Changelogs. |
| V7 Starts Development! I'm am happy to announce that Paralake V7's development has begun. There isn't much that can be said about this right now but there are even more exciting times ahead. Just like V6's development, there will be early leaks in our sever boosters channel on discord, so now is a good to start boosting the discord, as well as some potential development streams hosted by @peeps. Keep your eyes peeled for more to come. |
