Why were you punished?: 3.20 - Player disconnected with an open report

Why should this appeal be considered?: I'm relatively new, I try my best not to break any rules and tread carefully around the server. Now, I didn't have video evidence for this exact ban because I honestly didn't know I had an open report on me? I'm not sure who reported me or what did I do? but this is especially frustrating because the night I got banned I felt like I'm the one being unfairly treated so I left the server because It was just getting too lame. It was late at night for me, I hopped on for a bit to chill before sleep. I then got abused by some power tripping cop that threw me in prison because I punched a person that was stealing my car. Granted, I punished him after this cop cuffed him, but like it was funny to punch once, okay. This cop decided that it's reasonable to just throw me in prison with him which I found very lame and frustrating especially that this same cop I saw 5 minutes before the incident kill a new player to death because that player punched him once. ( Video evidence for this instance included) anyways I got so frustrated that I was put in this situation so after I was placed in prison I simply just left the server I don't think that's illegal so I'm not sure why I'm banned still.

Did you not see the report that was created with you? You get a notification when a report is created with you. From the logs, it seems like they created a report whilst you were mid role-play and should've seen the notification, it was created 1 minute after you were handcuffed outside of the Police Department

3.20 Disconnecting from the Server​

You must not be unconscious, in active roleplay, or speaking to a staff member when disconnecting. You must wait until 10 minutes have passed since committing a crime, unless the crime has been resolved (you were charged or absolved). You are not allowed to disconnect to save items. If you have to disconnect during roleplay, you must make a report and provide a good reason.

No, I have genuinely not seen the notification. Again, I'm a new player; I've never seen the notification before, so I don't have an eye for these things. I'm really curious to know what the report was about though.
