Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Apology
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Dekkrior
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 6 Months

Your Steam Name: Delta_Duckiedo
Your Roleplay Name: Leonardo Vizzari
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:150282692

Why were you punished?: 3.20 - User picked up a gun, then disconnected whilst his property was being raided 40 seconds later. Severe punishment due to record of 3.20

Why should this appeal be considered?: I bought an apartment at Regals because I was planning on growing there. While I was walking up the back stairs, I saw a scar sitting on the ground, so I picked it up and honestly didn’t think much of it. I went into my apartment afterward and locked my door. As I locked my door, my character started walking in place and the game completely stopped responding my game then completely froze and after waiting for it to come back I ended up having to restart it. After all of that happened I went to go eat IRL while my PC loads back up. After that I got the game back open, I went to join the server again and found out that I had been banned.

Normally, if I know I actually broke a rule and the ban was deserved, I wouldn’t even bother writing an appeal. I’d just accept it and stick out the ban. I know my record on the server is horrible, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. I’ve broken this rule before, and because of my previous bans I’ve actually taken the time to go back and read through the rules so I know what I’m supposed to do in situations like this. That’s also why I understand how weird the timing of everything looks from an admin’s perspective. At the same time, knowing my history, I wouldn’t intentionally quit during a raid and risk another ban over a single gun. I honestly had no idea I was being raided over the gun, because my game was frozen before I could even hear the sound of crowbars. That’s why I’m appealing this one, because from my perspective this wasn’t me knowingly breaking the rule and trying to get away with it like my previous bans.

what is the best way I can provide evidence? It’s not like I have a clip because I didn’t think my pc would just crash randomly.
