saw a clip where you looked away from flash, it dont matter if you look away or not, its proximity. So if you're far enough away you're good, but if you're close and try looking away, it wont work

When i look away from flashes i get flashed for a significantly shorter time than everyone around me I feel like looking away does do something
i think its written in an update a long time ago, where they changed it to proximity for better effect and usefullness. Think you're just further away from the flash than the other people.
