Definitely a VW Golf GTE but I want to get a petrol car before it. I was thinking about a Honda Civic but at this point I want something that doesn't use over 5 or 6 L of fuel per 100KM.

get a smaller engine with a turbocharger if you want performance

mine hasnt got a turbo but i can get about 450 miles to a tank and its only a 1.4
