Expensive mice are normally ones that are branded and have the exact same sensors as some of the cheaper mice. Take a look around on amazon, I picked up a mouse with the exact same Laser polling sensor as in the 110 quid logitech mice for 20 quidaroonies! Works a treat!

Don't bother with a headset. Get yourself a half decent pair of headphones and a zalman clip on mic. I use AKG K 701 which are slightly more than your budget but I'm sure you can pick up some decent Senheissers for that price.
