No, I'd just add a playerclip (which is an invisible "wall" that only blocks players).

I like the idea of having multiple speedometer options that you can choose which one to have. Should the customization be in character (purchasable from the car dealer for each car) or out of character (f1 menu)

The snow textures are only for christmas, they wouldn't be there if it just snowed. I'll take it as you want them to be there depending on the weather though.
