I figured it out, it was because I wasnt using my pcs native resolution. Idk why it was causing me to not be able to move but using my native resolution fixes it.

I dont know what I did to make it work but I can move now even though I have the old config, but still, thanks for all the help.

I cant get rid of my old config, I thought I did because i edited the autoexec but I checked the console and the old changes are still there. I deleted cfg and verified my game files and even reinstalled gmod but the settings still didnt change.

I use an autoexec from the steam guide "Garrys mod for potato pcs" and when I join the server I cant move and I cant use the chat, I can still pull out my phone and use items from my inventory but thats it. When I go back to default setting the server works just fine, is there a specific command...
