You should never ignore chat. It's not a requirement to use a microphone on this server and people will use it to communicate, as the RP did in this case. If you just stole the car, surely your alertness is heightened and you see a visibly armed player pointing a gun at you?

I take it you weren't paying attention to the chat then as I think "Hands up!" in local chat (close proximity to you) should at least raise your eyebrow.

I mean when did this happen; was it yesterday, Saturday, last Christmas? Include the timezone.
