In this situation @aeo clearly had enough time to recognise and respond appropriately to the very real threat of gunpoint, instead deciding to slowly reverse and drive away. In future situations, aeo, please make sure that you are acting in such a way that does not unnecessarily endanger your life. Had @Xeronise opted to shoot you here, he would have been able to kill you easily.
