Like I said previously, I saw nasa lingering for an awfully long time around tidals in positions that I typically see people raid/flank from. After dealing with our own KOS at southgate for cloud, we heard a shootout at tidals involving a lot of rifles, the guns they had. We decided to counter raid but investigated beforehand by having me go up to PLN to look and others go to the other entrance to look, giving us a perspective of both sides. All of this information + no "cop weapons" being heard gave us the idea that there were no cops on scene (which there weren't and there weren't any responding either). I saw multiple armed people running around the top floor which led me to believe that there was a raid occuring up there specifically in tidal 201. I then noticed someone who I thought to be in zipties (their handcuffs were just off screen) running out of where the door would be and around the window with someone pointing a gun in their general area, further solidifying my view. From there Inchs entered through the back door and the KOS began before we attempted to finish the "raid" in tidal 201.

As crunchie said, won't repeat why we thought it was a raid but I approached through the back door and heard Thorgal above me in what sounded like one of the apartments that we know they did not own as they had a base at bunker we recently raided.

As I approached I saw no cops from the back, Crunchie saw none from the front or in the windows, I checked the stairs on my side and saw none, the first floor corridor and saw none as I went up the stairs further and was killed by Thorgal therefore starting our shootout, we had not killed anyone before this relating to this situation so even if they were not raiding they started the situation by shooting me as you can see in the demo.

From the footage, it appears the group first scouted Tidals and noticed police arriving. They then disengaged and moved toward Southgate, where officers were killed. After that, they reacted to TeamSpeak information from within their organisation suggesting a raid or mugging was happening at Tidals. Inchs later returned to Tidals, entered from the rear, and was shot shortly after reaching floor 2, after checking floor 1, without firing a weapon or taking any further action.

Although the initial sweep of Tidals was not completely thorough, there is no clear evidence in the footage that any officers were actively inside the building at the time the counter started. Any rule breach would depend on confirmed police presence beforehand. Not clearing every corner in a large and complex building like Tidals is a risk, but in this case that risk did not turn into a rule break, as no officers are shown to be present.

The players were acting on what they believed to be a raid, based on their scouting, and the information being relayed over TS. Because it is often difficult to clearly confirm whether an “official” raid is taking place in real time, the expectations placed on players must remain reasonable. Given the information available to them at the time, their actions fall within those reasonable expectations.

Claims that this was a counter with officers on scene, or an improper response to an active PD KOS, are not strongly supported by the evidence provided. Crunchie’s role appears limited to scouting and relaying information, and there is no clear indication of wrongdoing by the other named parties.

Overall, this was a borderline situation that involved taking risks which could have resulted in a violation if officers had been present. However, it is not appropriate to issue punishment based on hypotheticals, and no clear rule break is established from the evidence shown.
