Why should this player be punished?: Took someone hostage in their own house, then stored their gun and failed to take it out for over a minute, before deciding to try and try to kill pd even then tho he wasnt getting arrested fior 7 years plus
After reviewing the video evidence and the player's logs, I have concluded with both staff members (@Headline, @sza) that the player did indeed broke rules 3.4 and 3.18. The player initiated a hostage situation with no apparent benefit, as PD was unaware of any kidnapping occurring on their property. They placed a 911 call, thereby escalating the situation to a hostage situation, despite not being at risk of arrest for a prior mugging/ziptying. During the situation, they gained no benefits aside from obtaining $5,000 and stored a weapon while police were actively dealing with the hostage situation. They delayed retrieving the weapon from storage, and when they eventually did, they attempted to use it while under direct gunpoint by multiple officers. This led to their death.
I attempted to contact the player but got no response. The player will be issued a 5-day ban for breaking rule 3.4, 3.18
