Why should this player be punished?: This person shot at my car for NO REASON, which made me and my friend raid him. While raiding him he had a super illegal base which caused us to die and loose our guns.

Hello, Sorry for the late response, I did not see this until now. After watching over the clip I am unsure what is going on here. I never intentionally shot at their vehicles, This guy and his goons attempted to raid our house and we defended it. - The Illegal base build has been assessed and corrected by Jake, I do apologize for the bad build on our end. This will not happen again. (Police raided the house soon after the defense, we did not gain anything from their deaths)


I am seriously unaware of what is going on with those shots on your car, I am the home owner and I share the residence with 2 other players, Either of them could have done it or possibly a third party entirely.

The bathroom window is seen to have bullet holes in it, and you popped one of their tyres, it's logged.

Why did you do shoot our the bathroom window at their car?

Me and my brothers were up inside the top floor of the house, we were shooting guns to try and bait police that were near by to come investigate out of stupidity. I didn't intend to hit any tires, for this I apologize.

Jams, After talking with my friends, and recalling what went down yesterday, I do believe that I did shoot out his tires and his car. I shot it from the window and It incited him to raid us. I apologize for the whole ordeal, Was not my intention for it to get to this point. I hope I can correct this mistake with you and Waller.

As per @Reggie Bosh's statement, he shot at your vehicle without merit.
For this, they will receive a 2.5 and 3.4 warning, as this was excessive and also put their life at needless risk via revenge.

In regards to your base setup, I understand you two are new so I won't punish on that, but please see this screenshot from the demo:


As pictured, you had a barricade (pink arrow) that directed / limited movement.
You need to be able to fit two people through all gaps, and also not direct/funnel movement in any way.
You can also see countered (4) spotlights.
You may only have a maximum of 3 spotlights pointed towards one general area.
You must keep at least two entrances to the main areas of a property unblocked (The upstairs counts as a main area, so blocking the balcony is not permitted here)

Building bases in Paralake can be challenging at first, but it is definitely manageable with some practice. I recommend taking a look at the Construction Handbook for guidance on how to build effective defenses:

@Waller I will say, this was a close call between me classing this as a 3rd raid in a hour, or acting against a counter. Given that the offending user got themselves involved in your raid by shooting at your car, I'm going to class it as a counter and as such you were permitted to raid it in addition.
You acted on this and I wouldn't say you died to a illegal base defence (you were shot over the railing with only 1 spotlight on at the time) I won't be offering any refunds on your weapon.
Unfortunately, your tyre repair would fall short of the $5000 minimum for a refund.
