Why should this player be punished?: I was conducting a stakeout at southgate as I believed there was individuals inside who were warranted due to a car being outside that was owned by a wanted individual. Whilst I was doing this stakeout a purple BMW approached me and began driving recklessly on the road (driving the wrong way, illegal U turn, reversing down the wrong way) I then got them to get out of their car due to this. As I was dragging them back to my car, an individual in black (I believe Roos but i might be wrong) decided to just shoot me.

This was an unrealistic escalation of the situation as there went from no evidence of wanted individuals being on the property other than a car being outside, to a full blown shootout over what was (to the best of my knowledge) the arrest of an individual for a traffic violation.

They claim it was due to them recently doing a PD raid, however the PD raid was quite a little while before this and, to the best of my knowledge, there was no DNA on the individual that I was arresting.

The individual was also openly hostile to me within OOC.

I think its also worth noting that during the situation I had not shown any sort of hostility, such as drawing a firearm, that would hint to it being a more extreme situation.

He said that literally after they came back from pd raid if anything it would be his fault because i didnt know if he actually killed someone or not he just said 10 so i did my job

Exactly, you didn't know if he actually killed someone which means you should have either investigated the situation more thoroughly or not shot at officers. He didnt say he was definitely 10, he said 'maybe'. Risking your life over a 'maybe' doesnt exactly seem like its worth it. Like I said in my initial statement he said in LOOC after I had died that he was going to shout that he wasn't 10. You could have heard my reasoning behind the arrest if you had approached me rather than shooting me.

Although this isnt on you, if he was warranted or 10 toes, why would he be openly recklessly driving and interacting with a police officer?

You acted pre-emptively and that ended up being the wrong decision to make.

I am adressing it sure, but you are in the wrong here how am i supposed to know that if you are faking the reckless driving reason so you can bait us that he wasnt 10 i had the rights to shoot you in spot as he raided pd, you are right there was no way of me knowing that he was 10 i thought he was cos he did pd raid

The PD raid that you did was a rather decently significant period of time before you decided to shoot me.

You decided to shoot me solely off of assumptions, rather than investigating the situation further.

How should i know if you were lying or not. Let the staff decide what to do about that + you were very aware that there was wanted people inside of the property thats the main reason you were scounting it isnt it

- When you arrested me I believed it was for that and you were hoping for a quick arrest and not to give away the real reason hence the 10 maybe. To clarify the issue of whether I’d be wanted - we took an EMS hostage directly and I’d finished off atleast 2 cops to my knowledge

If you were under the assumption that you were warranted, why did you choose to interact with me for a significant period of time. Especially if you were under the assumption that I was scouting for wanted individuals.

I dont believe ample opportunity was given to rectify the situation as I had been shot before I was given a chance to communicate with anyone but you. You even acknowledged this saying that I was going to get shot. I didnt put you in a position where you couldn't explain, the pre-emptive actions of your org mates did.

Its also worth noting that I was interacting with you for a significant period of time before attempting to apprehend you. If it was the case that you were warranted, why didnt I act immediately upon seeing you?
