Why should this player be punished?: I think this person broke 3.4 because after a shootout when police responded they pulled out a conffetti cannon and aimed it at officers. need this urgently for a IA

Hello!

So, the clip doesn't really show it but the shootout had ended before I came into the area. The person was shot a minute or so before that clip and then the cops finally arrived, as you can see there was also another person who was right next to where I was.

Now as for the confetti cannon, I had bought it before this happened and I was going to shoot it in the air after the cop arrested the shooter as joke. It was not meant to look like a gun or anything like that, the idea was about a sort of 'congratulations' for arresting the shooter.

For one, I didn't know the confetti cannon looked exactly like how a gun was held, I don't think I had ever actually seen anyone hold one, I always felt like I was only the person buying them. If I had known it was the exact same animation as holding a rifle then I absolutely would not have done that.

Secondly, I didn't expect the cop to be right around the corner with his gun out, especially not aiming it in my direction. If I had known he was right there, aiming in my direction I wouldn't have had the cannon equipped.

Overall, I absolutely see the issue here, but please understand this was not my intention at all to look like I was going to shoot him, I was just preparing to make a stupid joke by congratulating him (again, with no intent of anything potentially rule breaking). The shootout had also been over by the time I ran over, as you can tell by other people next to me.

Also, as a side note his message makes it look like I wrote an IA, I did not write an IA nor was I considering it. After I was revived by medics we spoke about it and I apologized for causing the confusing situation and told him to have a nice day.

This is incredibly false as I have been provided a demo overview of the situation, I cannot share it as it's confidential due to being used in internal affairs. However, I can assure you it was not a whole minute. The person was shot and you instantly ran towards, over, and in front of this officer who shot you. I will assume you just don't remember the situation fully as to why you thought it was a whole minute, but it was mere seconds.

So you can understand how short of a time it was, this is the exact time of when the person was shot near you in bazaar; Apr 10, 2025 4:35:12 PM and this is when you were shot by the officer; Apr 10, 2025 4:35:21 PM

You clearly risked your life by charging toward the person who was just shot instead of fleeing the other way and having a confetti cannon out didn't help your cause in this situation at all as it can easily be mistaken for a gun. Internal affairs/Complaint committee will work out whether you being shot was lawful or not. You should have fled the area instead of running directly toward the person who was just shot in front of you. You'll receive a warning for 3.4.
