Authenticating with steam...

Hello,
Everytime i join perp my game timeouts on "Authenticating with steam". Sometimes i can wait 15-30 mins, but sometimes i cant join the server at all. This only happends when i join perp, i can still join other servers. It also only happends when using the 64bit beta, but when i dont use 64bit my game crashes. I have tried uninstalling gmod, restarting my computer, validating game files, redownloading addons. Nothing seems to work.

Anyone who knows a solution?

Thats what i do, its annoying to wait 30 mins to join, and at most times i cant join at all.

I have done that too. also using taskmanager

Have you checked if joining with a VPN fixes the issue? It's not an ideal permanent solution, but it could work temporarily and it could also point to the nature of the issue.

Tried with vpn, got in instantly. This might be a coincidence so ill try later asw. Ty Vollgas.
