Why were you punished?: I was punished for commenting/making a joke about something another player said in out of character chat.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I was completely in the wrong here. Making a joke about something horrendous as that is not okay in any circumstance. When he said that in ooc chat I felt a wave of nostalgia (hear me out this isn't what you think it is). In 2017 an online game called Club Penguin shut down. In the coming months people started to make private servers aka copies of club penguin of different eras, for example an og version from 2008 or a newer version from 2017. And they couldn't use the name Club penguin in the url so they used the letters cp, so every time me and my childhood bestfriend said something about the game club penguin the other person always said "how many, what ages" referring to the competition that some servers were facing because there was just so many private servers at once. And with the ages meaning what era. Another wild thing is that I got more punished than the person that said it?!?!?! Both of us got a permanent ban but I also got slapped with a ooc timeout?!?

When I saw those 2 letters in chat cp was the last thing I was thinking of. I also made sure to type in chat that I was referring to club penguin to clear up any confusion, but that clearly wasn't enough and I should've realised that many people don't understand the reference. I don't expect to get away without any punishment, frankly, I'm a terrible person and I deserve to suffer the consequences of my actions. I just think an indefinite ban from the server is harsh considering that in my opinion did a much less worse thing than the other person (Lechaaa) and still got an even harsher punishment that he/she got. And as this is my first (and last) offence I think that both you the person reading this and me should take this as a silver lining. To think twice before you say anything because you make the bed you lay in.

I've gone through the recent ban list for the past 30 minutes. Most of if not all of the people that've gotten a permanent ban did something crazy like cheating, massrdm, calling people the n-word and f slur, racism, islamophobia, homophobia and I even managed to find someone that groomed a minor. But it doesn't feel like my reason was a up there on the perma ban level. (reason was "Inappropriate and disturbing inquiry in OOC").

I'd also like some clarification (even if I get approved or not) on why I got an ooc chat timeout (I thought that was my punishment at the time), but then an hour later get hit with a ban. thanks.

i’d also like to clarify the messages on the white page. Typed those as an april fools joke. But yeah that first message at the very top is the one I typed, not the 3rd one saying selling cp. And those 4 messages below with my name next to them are also mine.

You knew exactly what you were saying and as such you can live with the consequences.
