Why were you punished?: 2.4 - Buying ingame items for out of game funds
Why should this appeal be considered?: I personally believe my appeal should be considered because : it has been over a year and nearly 3 months since my ban, I was banned on the 4th of april, over this last year and several months I have took time away from the server and took time to reflect on what took place, whilst still monitoring the forums here n there and sorta posting on threads when it feels necessary, like a few months back like here: https://perpheads.com/threads/ban-apology-admin-meeting.67510/#post-492466 , when a certain someone tried to come back. And strongly believe if I didn’t bring this up he would of been unbanned (As far as i’m aware there was nothing on notes prior)
Along with this I take full responsibility for what I did and what issues I caused to not only other players, but the staff team and the owners. I basically had brought items off another player with out of game funds, and to try and hide my tracks had got him to send it to another player to be crafted. The player who had sold me the stuff received a ban, along with someone who had no involvement, and instead of coming clean at the start i just sorta ignored it and hoped it would go un noticed which was completely stupid of me, and which made the staff team and owners look into it more deeply to find out what actually took place. Which I can nothing but apologise for as it must of been a ball ache for them, and i apologise to the other player who had no involvement and received a short ban until i was banned.
As many players probably know, Perp was the only game/server I played on PC, except for counter strike here n there so receiving the ban made me take a good timeout from gaming in general which was good for me, and has lead to me wanting to come back with a more clearer mind and a much more positive attitude in general
I know I appealed about a month ago, and have a few times since my ban, but it’s because I generally would love to come back to the server and be given another chance, I have attempted to reach out to Fredy a lil while back about a rough time frame on when i should appeal for a chance of a unban, but I have not managed to get much of a response, which I completely understand and respect. Also with the v6 release now being announced, I can see a lot of other players appealing (which we all know was bound to happen) which as much as I would love to experience v6, I would also just love to experience the server again and this time with a reformed attitude and outlook towards the server. With this like i’ve said to numerous higher ups, that my goal is to not only just play the server, but also work my way back into the staff team when my trust has been rebuilt
