Why should this appeal be considered?: Im writing this to sincerely apologize for the situation which led to my ban. I just want to start by saying that I respect the rules of the server and the work the staff puts in to maintain a fair environment at the server
At the time which all of this happened, I had installed a few client side tools in garrys mod that I thought were allowed since they ware for visual enhancements and shades, including also smoother camera control and etc. I now realize that one of those tools may have crossed the line into whats considered a cheat by the server, even if it wasnt used to gain a competitive edge over other players, again totally my fault
I wasnt trying to harm the gameplay or disrupt anyone elses experience in game. It was an honest mistake based on a misunderstanding of what kinds of tools are allowed. If I had known it would result in a ban, I absolutely wouldve removed the addon immediately
I take full responsibility for not double checking what was permitted, and I understand that even unintended rule breaks cant be taken lightly. Ive since removed anything questionable from my game entirely, and if given the chance, Ill make sure to follow the rules to the letter moving forward
I care about being a part of this community, and I hope to prove that I can be a respectful from here on out
