Why were you punished?: 3.2 - Metagaming with STEAM_0:0:460728097 and STEAM_0:1:102712747
Why should this appeal be considered?: To be honest when me and my mates started this server we kind of just skimmed through the rules hardly reading them at all and we just heard TeamSpeak was allowed and instead of actually thinking or even reading the rules we just assumed that we could use it from outside the game. Looking back it very clearly states in 3.2 "The use of communication applications outside of this game is strictly forbidden; for example, the use of Steam chat, TeamSpeak, Discord, Skype, telephones, etc." but we hardly bothered to read it. After receiving the ban and looking back we realised how unfair this method of communication actually is and that we were lucky to not receive harsher punishment.
I am not saying whatsoever that us not knowing this was against the rules is an excuse, it is not, as this extremely unfair and in the instance that caused the ban to happen was extremely unfair to the player who got killed because we called out using an out of game application rather than org chat or our phones in game.
I want to say that I fully realise how stupid we were being for not properly reading the rules and because of that ruining the experience for another player and that I'm verry sorry about that, also that this of course won't happen again.
Additional Information: This ban was probably 100% deserved as we ruined the experience for that player and that I completely understand if this is denied.
