Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Other
Appeal Type: Apology
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @HuskyD0G
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 1 Month
Your Steam Name: Bstpn
Your Roleplay Name: Micheal Writtenhouse
Your SteamID: STEAM_1:1:722907622
Why were you punished?: not putting my hands up during "gunpoint"
Why should this appeal be considered?: i didnt mean to spam i just replaced the evidence link to my demo, it just wasn't showing that it actually changed it or not. which lead to me submiting a few more times than usual.“non-compliance” or slow reaction on their POV might’ve looked totally different on your screen. Especially in split-second gunpoint situations. The delay between what you see, how you react, and what the server processes can be huge if your ping is high.
It’s unfair to assume everyone has the same experience or reaction time when latency literally affects the timing of animations, sounds, and even voice chat.
Additional Information: I respect the need to enforce rules, but it’s important to understand that latency made the scenario look very different on my end. It wasn’t a refusal to roleplay — it was a delayed response caused by network lag. A lot of international players deal with this, and my reaction was honest and real-time from my POV
