Why were you punished?: 3.4 - While under gunpoint, the user was told to be quiet, but when he heard the police, he started to talk louder in attempt to catch their attention, resulting in his death.
Why should this appeal be considered?: I went afk briefly for a minute or two, I heard someone speaking to me on my headphones so I came back and saw that someone had broken into my apartment. I instantly put my hands up and starting reasoning with the robber. He then asked me to be quiet to which I co-operated. Whilst my hands were up he zip tied me to which I accepted, and then I started hearing someone trying to open the door. I then look the other way thinking my hands are up and turn around to find him pointing the gun at me telling me to put my hands up. He pointed the gun to my face telling me to put my hands up to which I shouted back that my hands were already up. This is because I already had my hands up and agreed to the zip tie request, I didnt realise that as he took too long to cuff me my hands had dropped back down. This is the only reason I shouted as I was confused as to what he wanted me to do as I thought that my hand were already up. I then hear police at the door who had come because they heard shots fired and saw the door to my apartment was open, this was the reason they came in. I would like to apologise for shouting, I only did this as I was confused as to what he wanted me to do. I already thought my hands were up so therefore I became confused and started shouting 'my hands are up'. This was a simple mistake and I dont believe that I should be banned for a whole 3 weeks due to this incident. Although I understand I have a long history, I can assure you this incident was a genuine mistake as I didnt know that my hands came down. I would like to apologise once again and assure you this wont happen again.
