Why were you punished?: 2.5 - User killed a paramedic because they took DNA, but took no actions to prevent DNA from being taken when they had the chance to.
Why should this appeal be considered?: Hey, I want to say I'm really sorry for breaking rule 2.5. I didn't mean to mess up or cause and problems. Someone told me it was okay to do what I did, and I believed them without checking for myself. I know now that was a bad decision, and I should've made sure I understood the rules before acting. I wasn't trying to be toxic or ignore the rules, I honestly thought what I did was okay. However, I get that it's my responsibility to know the rules and follow them, no matter what anyone else says. I should've asked an admin or checked the server rules instead of just trusting what I was told. I feel really regretful about it and I understand why rule 2.5 is important. I've learned from this, and I promise I'll be more careful in the future. I'll make sure to double check things and not just go along with what other people say, even if they seem trustworthy. I hope you can forgive me and give me a chance to fix things. I'm ready to do better and prove I've learned from this mistake. Thanks for listening and for giving me the chance to explain.
