Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Apology
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Megasaw
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 5 Days
Your Steam Name: RoosterJack
Your Roleplay Name: Jack Araw
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:124418552
Why were you punished?: 2.5, 3.4 - User shot a player unconscious without a valid reason in front of a police officer, causing the user to get detained. The user then shot and killed the same player after the player got revived, claiming they had valid reasoning when they did not, again breaking 2.5.
Why should this appeal be considered?: Given a break from Perp, I can now realise the benefit to the ban as a form of a break from Perp, and I'm ready to come back with a fresh set of eyes.
As said before, in retrospect it makes sense for the ban, and from it I hope that my mind is sharper when dealing with issues going forward.
Being more able to realise my actions in the moment and an appreciation for considering them more heavily going forward is definitely a bonus, aswell as a new attitude toward the rules as guidelines to keep people in the fun rather than the unfun.
Also being said, I'd like to apologise to Megasaw from me for the distress I may have caused going forward. I've said before you're a good mod, and I now hold more trust in your actions as an intention to help rather than hinder, which I appreciate myself as one who pursues that myself. No hard feelings, and commendation to you for your judgement and scrutiny.
