Why were you punished?: 3.4 - The user rammed into a police officer after getting a parking ticket. The user claimed it was an accident, but instead of getting out of the car to de-escalate the situation, the user carried on ramming the police car in front of them and drove off. This resulted in their car getting shot at and leading them to be shot unconscious and arrested.
Why should this appeal be considered?: After speaking with Megasaw during and after the discussion surrounding the Ban, I decided it would be best to make this Appeal to apologise for the reasoning leading to my subsequent ban. The situation at face-value was that I had hit a Police Officer and drove off over fear of being reprimanded - even though it was unintentional - leading to a shootout and my arrest.
(It is worth noting that the car was my friends, my actions were not in retaliation to the ticket as I did not know about it.)
I understand how this situation could have easily been diffused, preserving my life & freedom- not breaking 3.4 - & after much thought I feel at will to make this appeal to apologise, recognise and rectify my actions. I spend countless hours a day on PERP, and feel a little lost being unable to play. I would appreciate it if you could consider my apology.
