Why should this appeal be considered?: Dear Perpheads staff,
I’d like to start by saying that the punishment I received was fair, and I fully understand why I was banned. I take full responsibility for my actions and hope you’ll give me the opportunity to explain myself.
A little about me: I used to play Garry’s Mod extensively between 2014 and 2016, mostly in DarkRP servers. Life eventually pulled me away, and I’ve been busy tackling challenges in the real world. Fast-forward eight years, I recently decided to revisit Garry’s Mod for nostalgia’s sake. Naturally, I gravitated towards your server, given its popularity.
My initial intention was to jump back into the game for a quick laugh—something Garry’s Mod has always excelled at. In the process, I saw someone sharing their phone number in the chat, which I hadn’t encountered before, and I gave in to the impulse to troll them. I thought it was harmless fun at the time, but I now realize it wasn’t appropriate behavior.
Shortly after, I ended up meeting another player who introduced me to the depth and mechanics of your server. They showed me how to engage with the community, earn money, and fully immerse myself in what your server has to offer. I was genuinely impressed and started to see how much fun this game still holds. However, my previous actions caught up with me, and I was banned for the phone call I made.
I regret my behavior and want to sincerely apologize to the person I called. It was immature and out of line. I’m now approaching this appeal with a better understanding of the community and a renewed appreciation for what your server offers.
To sum up:
- In the years since I last played, I’ve matured significantly, earning multiple degrees and building a professional career. I should’ve known better than to act impulsively.
- What started as a casual visit has turned into a genuine interest in reconnecting with Garry’s Mod and exploring your server’s unique features.
- I offer my sincere apology to the person I disrupted and to the community for not respecting the rules.
If you’re willing to give me a second chance, I’d be grateful for the opportunity to prove myself as a responsible and positive member of your server. With the holidays here, I have the time and motivation to engage with your community the right way.
