Why were you punished?: 3.2 - Using a thrid party communication tool to chat with their friend.
Why should this appeal be considered?: I apologize for breaking the listed rule. I was merely trying to help my friend who is also new to the server with starting out and learning how to play. I personally believe a week ban is a bit much considering it is not only my first offense but it is a semi-obscure rule. I admit to breaking the rule fully, but I believe something along the lines of a warning or a few hour ban seems more suitable as a consequence for breaking this rule.
